- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely and consistent manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain quality control of all prepared food items.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding any issues or concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating kitchen equipment.
- Continuously strive to improve and develop new menu items and recipes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting patrons with their orders.
- Be knowledgeable about all menu items and able to make recommendations to customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
- Take initiative to ensure that the kitchen is always well-stocked and prepared for service.
- Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic at all times.
Culinary Experience And Training: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cook Or In A Food Production Setting. They Should Also Have Completed A Culinary Program Or Have Equivalent Training In Food Safety And Preparation Techniques.
Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Regarding Food Safety And Sanitation, And Be Able To Demonstrate Compliance With These Regulations In A Professional Setting.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Role Requires Individuals Who Can Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Kitchen Or Production Environment. Candidates Should Have Experience Working Under Pressure And Be Able To Prioritize Tasks To Meet Production Deadlines.
Attention To Detail: As A Cook/Production Worker, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring All Dishes And Products Meet Quality Standards. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Follow Recipes And Production Instructions Accurately.
