  1. Provide high-level support and assistance to the Vice President in all aspects of their role.
  2. Act as a liaison between the Vice President and other members of the leadership team, communicating important updates and information effectively.
  3. Conduct research and analysis on various issues and topics to assist the Vice President in making informed decisions.
  4. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives in collaboration with the Vice President to promote the growth and prosperity of the state.
  5. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the office and ensure the smooth functioning of all administrative tasks.
  6. Coordinate and organize meetings, events, and conferences for the Vice President and other members of the leadership team.
  7. Monitor and report on the progress of various projects and initiatives, identifying any potential issues or obstacles and providing solutions.
  8. Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and community organizations.
  9. Manage and oversee the budget for the office, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
  11. Stay informed about current policies and developments in the state to provide timely and accurate updates to the Vice President.
  12. Represent the Vice President and the state at public events and meetings, showcasing a professional and positive image.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Public Administration, Or Political Science.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Strategic Planning, Budget Management, And Project Management.

  • Knowledge Of State And Local Government Processes And Regulations, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Current Political Landscape In Virginia.
