- Assist the Director of Financial Aid in developing and implementing strategies to increase financial aid accessibility for students.
- Provide guidance and support to students and their families in understanding the financial aid application process.
- Evaluate and process financial aid applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct financial aid workshops and presentations to educate students and families about available aid options and requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to streamline processes and improve efficiency in delivering financial aid services.
- Stay updated on changes in financial aid policies and regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary adjustments to processes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of financial aid disbursements and student information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial aid policies and procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and families by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in financial aid administration.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Financial Aid Administration, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting
Knowledge Of Federal And State Financial Aid Regulations And Policies
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Students, Parents, And Colleagues
Experience In Managing A Team And Supervising Staff Members
