- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to support the healthy development of youth in the state of Utah.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address the needs of youth in various communities.
- Conduct research and stay updated on current trends and best practices in youth development.
- Build relationships and partnerships with local organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to enhance the impact of our programs.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, trainings, and events for youth and their families.
- Provide guidance and support to youth in areas such as academic achievement, career exploration, and personal development.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of our programs and make necessary improvements.
- Develop and maintain resources and materials for youth and their families.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to youth development.
- Represent the Youth Development team at meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities and outcomes.
- Stay informed of relevant laws, policies, and regulations pertaining to youth development.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of youth and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
- Communicate effectively with youth, families, and community members to promote our programs and services.
- Uphold and promote the values and mission of the Youth Development team and the State of Utah.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Youth In A Social Services Or Educational Setting.
Knowledge Of Child Development Principles And Evidence-Based Interventions For At-Risk Youth.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Youth, Families, And Community Partners.
Ability To Complete And Pass A Background Check And Obtain Necessary Certifications, Such As First Aid And Cpr.
