  1. Conduct water quality testing: The Water Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting various tests on water samples to determine their quality and identify any potential contaminants.
  2. Monitor water systems: This role will involve regularly monitoring the state's water systems, including rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Collect and analyze data: The technician will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from water quality tests and creating reports to track trends and identify potential issues.
  4. Maintain equipment: The Water Quality Technician will be responsible for regularly maintaining and calibrating equipment used for water testing to ensure accurate results.

  6. Collaborate with other departments: This role will require working closely with other departments and agencies to coordinate efforts and share information related to water quality.

  8. Stay up-to-date on regulations: It is the responsibility of the Water Quality Technician to stay informed about state and federal regulations related to water quality and ensure compliance in all activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Or A Related Field.

  • Prior Experience In Water Quality Monitoring, Analysis, And Reporting.
