
Vista Oral Health Access & Outreach Specialist

- Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase access to oral health services for underserved populations.
- Collaborate with community partners to identify and address oral health needs in the community.
- Conduct outreach and educational events to promote oral health and increase awareness of available services.
- Coordinate and facilitate trainings for community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders on oral health topics.
- Utilize effective communication skills to build relationships with community members and stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of outreach efforts.
- Provide education and resources to individuals and families on the importance of oral health and preventative care.
- Serve as a liaison between the State of Utah and community organizations, advocating for the oral health needs of underserved populations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with dental providers to expand access to oral health services.
- Stay up-to-date on current oral health policies, regulations, and best practices to inform outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of oral health services with overall health initiatives.
- Represent the State of Utah at events and meetings related to oral health access and outreach.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of outreach activities and outcomes.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to service and the promotion of health equity for all individuals and communities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve outreach strategies to better serve the needs of the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Community Outreach Or Health Education.
Knowledge Of Oral Health Issues And Resources, Particularly In Underserved Communities.
Experience Developing And Implementing Outreach Strategies And Programs.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Diverse Populations.
