  1. Assist individuals with registering and titling their vehicles in accordance with state laws and regulations.
  2. Maintain a strong understanding of the vehicle registration process and stay updated on any changes or updates.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals seeking assistance with vehicle registration.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all vehicle registration and titling paperwork.
  5. Verify all required documentation and information for each vehicle registration and title request.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to answer any questions and resolve any issues related to vehicle registration and titling.
  7. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of all vehicle registrations and titles.
  8. Stay updated on all state laws and regulations pertaining to vehicle registration and titling.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations within the department.
  10. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the department and the state of Utah positively.
  11. Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Education Is Typically Required For This Position, As It Demonstrates The Basic Level Of Knowledge And Skills Needed To Perform The Job Duties.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Prior Experience In A Title And Registration Technician Role, Or In A Related Field Such As Customer Service Or Administrative Support, Is Often Preferred For This Seasonal Position.

  • Knowledge Of State Laws And Regulations: Title And Registration Technicians Are Responsible For Ensuring That All Vehicle Registrations And Titles Comply With State Laws And Regulations. Therefore, A Solid Understanding Of These Laws And Regulations Is Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Title And Registration Technician, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For Providing A Positive Experience For Customers.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Title And Registration Technicians Are Responsible For Accurately Entering And Processing Information Related To Vehicle Registrations And Titles. Therefore, A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy Is Necessary To Perform The Job Effectively And Avoid Costly Errors.
