- Assist individuals with registering and titling their vehicles in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the vehicle registration process and stay updated on any changes or updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals seeking assistance with vehicle registration.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all vehicle registration and titling paperwork.
- Verify all required documentation and information for each vehicle registration and title request.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to answer any questions and resolve any issues related to vehicle registration and titling.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of all vehicle registrations and titles.
- Stay updated on all state laws and regulations pertaining to vehicle registration and titling.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations within the department.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the department and the state of Utah positively.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Education Is Typically Required For This Position, As It Demonstrates The Basic Level Of Knowledge And Skills Needed To Perform The Job Duties.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Prior Experience In A Title And Registration Technician Role, Or In A Related Field Such As Customer Service Or Administrative Support, Is Often Preferred For This Seasonal Position.
Knowledge Of State Laws And Regulations: Title And Registration Technicians Are Responsible For Ensuring That All Vehicle Registrations And Titles Comply With State Laws And Regulations. Therefore, A Solid Understanding Of These Laws And Regulations Is Essential For This Role.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Title And Registration Technician, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For Providing A Positive Experience For Customers.
