
Structures Planning and Program Manager

- Develop and implement comprehensive structures planning and program strategies that align with the state's infrastructure goals and priorities.
- Oversee the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including state agencies, local governments, and community members, to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs.
- Conduct thorough analyses of project proposals, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments, to inform decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Ensure all projects comply with state regulations, codes, and standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and allocating resources effectively.
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other external partners to facilitate project execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to structures planning and program management, and apply them to enhance project outcomes.
- Represent the state in public meetings and hearings related to infrastructure projects, communicating project updates and addressing any concerns from stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other state agencies and departments to coordinate infrastructure projects and ensure alignment of goals and resources.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, budget, and performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the structures planning and program management team, seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and acting with integrity in all job duties.
Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Specifically In The Planning And Design Of Structures.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Relevant Federal And State Laws, Regulations, And Codes Related To Structures Planning And Design.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team And Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders.
Experience In Budget Management And Financial Planning For Large-Scale Projects.
