- Assist caseworkers in managing a caseload of children and families in need, ensuring that all necessary services and supports are provided
- Conduct client interviews and assessments to gather information and determine appropriate services and resources
- Maintain accurate and thorough case records, including documentation of all interactions and services provided
- Work closely with caseworkers to develop and implement individualized care plans for children and families
- Monitor and track progress of cases, providing regular updates to caseworkers and supervisors
- Collaborate with community organizations and service providers to connect clients with necessary resources and support systems
- Attend court hearings and meetings related to cases, providing information and support as needed
- Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced caseworkers, providing support and guidance as needed
- Stay up-to-date on all child welfare policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to provide information, answer questions, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to child welfare work.
Strong Communication, Organization, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Child Welfare Or Social Work Field.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Child Welfare And Experience Working With Dcfs Policies And Procedures.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, While Maintaining A Positive Attitude And Prioritizing Tasks Effectively.
