- Lead and supervise a team of caseworkers in the DCFS Eastern Region to effectively carry out the mission of protecting and supporting vulnerable children and families.
- Conduct regular meetings and trainings to ensure caseworkers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle complex cases and provide quality support to families.
- Utilize your expertise and experience to guide and mentor caseworkers in making difficult decisions and handling challenging situations.

- Collaborate with other agency departments, community organizations, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for the prevention and intervention of child abuse and neglect.
- Oversee and review case plans, case progress, and documentation to ensure they meet agency standards and are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of caseworker performance and provide feedback, coaching, and support as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the DCFS Eastern Region and other agencies, courts, and community partners to coordinate services and resources for clients and families.
- Participate in and lead meetings, committees, and training sessions to stay informed of current research, best practices, and trends in child welfare.
