  1. Conduct safety and health assessments for businesses and organizations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance to businesses and organizations on safety and health practices, policies, and procedures.
  3. Develop and implement safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements as needed.
  5. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to occupational health and safety.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to promote a holistic approach to workplace safety.
  7. Conduct research and analysis on safety and health data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  8. Communicate and educate businesses and organizations on the importance of workplace safety and the impact it has on employees and the community.
  9. Provide support and guidance to businesses and organizations during safety and health inspections and investigations.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of safety assessments, training programs, and consultations.
  11. Attend conferences and seminars related to occupational health and safety to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Serve as a resource and point of contact for businesses and organizations seeking guidance on safety and health matters.
  13. Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to promote and improve workplace safety across the state.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in carrying out job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Occupational Safety And Health Program Development And Implementation.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Workplace Safety And Health.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees At All Levels.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Preferred.
