  1. Develop and implement employment programs and initiatives for refugees in the community.
  2. Conduct intake and needs assessments for refugees seeking employment assistance.
  3. Provide individualized career counseling and job readiness support to refugees.
  4. Collaborate with community organizations and employers to identify job opportunities for refugees.
  5. Create and maintain relationships with employers to increase job placement opportunities for refugees.
  6. Assist refugees with resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
  7. Coordinate and facilitate job readiness workshops and trainings for refugees.
  8. Monitor and track refugee employment progress and outcomes.
  9. Advocate for refugee employment needs and concerns to community stakeholders.
  10. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
  11. Stay informed about current refugee issues and policies to effectively support clients.
  12. Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to provide holistic support and services to refugees.
  14. Comply with state and federal regulations and guidelines related to refugee services.
  15. Represent the state agency at community events and meetings to promote refugee employment services.
  16. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards refugees and their cultural backgrounds.
  17. Continuously evaluate and improve refugee employment programs and services.
  18. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  19. Adhere to ethical standards and professional boundaries in all interactions with clients.
  20. Uphold the agency's mission and values in all job duties and responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience Working With Refugee Populations, Preferably In A Counseling Or Job Placement Capacity.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Resources And Programs Available For Refugees.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Trust With Diverse Individuals.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cultural Sensitivity And The Ability To Work With Clients From Different Backgrounds And Experiences.
