  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to individuals with mental illness.
  2. Assist in meeting the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
  3. Monitor and document patients' behaviors and progress.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as directed by a licensed healthcare provider.
  6. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  7. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  8. Adhere to all departmental and facility policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices in mental health care.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  11. Advocate for patients' needs and rights.
  12. Attend team meetings and provide input on patient care.
  13. Serve as a role model for patients and colleagues.
  14. Handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
  15. Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  16. Possess a thorough understanding of mental health disorders and treatment approaches.
  17. Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately.
  18. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards patients and their families.
  19. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  20. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Education Requirement: A Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Or A Related Field Is Required.

  • Experience In Mental Health: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Such As A Psychiatric Hospital, Is Preferred.

  • Valid License Or Certification: A Valid License Or Certification As A Psychiatric Technician, Nurse, Or Social Worker Is Required.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health Laws And Regulations: Familiarity With State And Federal Mental Health Laws And Regulations, Including Hipaa, Is Necessary For This Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Working With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Mental Health Setting.
