- Develop and implement strategies to promote environmentally sustainable practices within the State of Utah.
- Oversee the Project AWARE program and ensure successful execution of initiatives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups, to advance environmental conservation efforts.
- Manage a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure the program's goals and objectives are met.
- Conduct research and stay updated on current environmental issues and trends to inform program development and decision-making.
- Create and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance the program's reach and impact.
- Plan and execute educational events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote environmental awareness and encourage community involvement.
- Monitor and evaluate program progress and prepare reports for stakeholders and upper management.
- Represent the program and the State of Utah at conferences, meetings, and other events related to environmental sustainability.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to environmental conservation and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the program and identify new initiatives to further promote environmental stewardship in Utah.
Bachelor's Degree In Project Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Government Or Non-Profit Setting
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Stakeholders
Experience With Budget Management And Financial Reporting
Knowledge Of Environmental Issues And Experience With Environmental Projects Is Preferred
