
Probation Officer - Various Locations

- Monitor and supervise individuals on probation to ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for probationers.
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with probationers to assess progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Utilize appropriate resources and referrals to assist probationers in achieving successful reintegration into society.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of case progress and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other criminal justice professionals, such as judges, attorneys, and social workers, to ensure coordinated efforts for rehabilitation.
- Provide support and guidance to probationers as they navigate challenges and barriers to successful completion of their probation.
- Conduct risk assessments and determine appropriate levels of supervision and intervention for probationers.
- Enforce and administer consequences for probation violations.
- Stay up-to-date on laws, policies, and procedures related to probation and criminal justice.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for probationers.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, including probationers, colleagues, and community members.
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the job.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by collaborating with team members and sharing knowledge and expertise.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Related Field, Such As Probation, Parole, Or Counseling.
Knowledge Of State, Federal, And Local Laws Related To Probation And Community Supervision.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations And Communicate With Other Criminal Justice Professionals.
Strong Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage A Caseload Of Clients, Including Conducting Home Visits, Writing Reports, And Maintaining Accurate Records.
