We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team and help us in our mission to maintain the park's natural and cultural resources.   1. Greet and welcome visitors to the park, providing them with information about the park's history, rules, and regulations.
  2. Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety of visitors and protection of park resources.
  3. Conduct regular patrols of the park to monitor for any potential hazards or violations.
  4. Assist with emergency response and first aid as needed.
  5. Provide educational programs and activities for visitors to increase their understanding and appreciation of the park's natural and cultural resources.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized visitor center, including restrooms, gift shop, and other facilities.
  7. Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of park facilities, including trails, picnic areas, and campsites.
  8. Collaborate with other park staff and agencies to plan and coordinate special events and programs.
  9. Keep accurate records and reports of park activities, including visitor statistics, resource management, and incidents.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on park policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Park Management, Wildlife Conservation, Or Outdoor Recreation.

  • Knowledge Of Local Flora And Fauna, As Well As Natural And Cultural History Of Dead Horse Point State Park.

  • Ability To Operate And Maintain Park Equipment, Including Vehicles, Tools, And Communication Devices.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Park Visitors, Staff, And Other Agencies.
