Job Description

Welcome to the State of Utah's Moderate Income Housing Program Specialist position! We are seeking a driven and dedicated individual to join our team and help us expand our affordable housing initiatives. As a Moderate Income Housing Program Specialist, you will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on our community by providing access to safe and affordable housing options for moderate income individuals and families.   1. Develop and implement strategies to expand the State of Utah's Moderate Income Housing Program and increase access to affordable housing for moderate income individuals and families.
  2. Stay up-to-date on housing policies, regulations, and funding opportunities to inform program development and expansion efforts.
  3. Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to identify and assess housing needs and develop targeted solutions.
  4. Conduct research and data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in the moderate income housing sector.
  5. Communicate effectively with program participants, government officials, and community partners to provide information, guidance, and support regarding the Moderate Income Housing Program.
  6. Review and evaluate program applications, eligibility requirements, and compliance with housing regulations to ensure fair and equitable distribution of resources.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, property owners, and developers to increase the availability of affordable housing units for moderate income individuals and families.
  8. Assist in the development and management of program budgets and funding allocations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  9. Monitor and track program outcomes and progress towards established goals and objectives, and make recommendations for program improvements as needed.
  10. Provide training, technical assistance, and support to program staff and community partners to ensure a high level of service delivery and program effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
