  1. Provide expert HVAC technical knowledge and support to maintain and repair HVAC systems in various state facilities.
  2. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  3. Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot any HVAC issues that arise.
  4. Install, test, and calibrate new HVAC systems and components.
  5. Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules.
  6. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on HVAC systems.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  9. Communicate effectively with building occupants to address any HVAC concerns or questions.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve HVAC processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Train and mentor new team members on HVAC best practices and procedures.
  12. Attend meetings and provide input on HVAC-related projects and initiatives.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Represent the State of Utah in a professional manner at all times.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive working relationship with colleagues and building occupants.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Hvac Industry, With A Focus On Commercial And Industrial Systems.

  • Must Possess A Journey Hvac Specialist License From The State Of Utah, Or Be Able To Obtain One Within 90 Days Of Hire.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Manuals Related To Hvac Systems.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Local And National Building Codes And Regulations Pertaining To Hvac Installation And Maintenance.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Diagnose And Repair Complex Hvac Issues Efficiently And Safely.
