- Create a welcoming and safe environment for at-risk youth by maintaining a positive and compassionate attitude.
- Provide direct care and supervision to youth in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and facilitate programs and activities that promote positive youth development and address individual needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with youth, families, and community partners.
- Monitor and document the behavior, progress, and well-being of youth in the program.
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility by following safety protocols and conducting regular safety checks.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized treatment plans for youth.
- Assist in the implementation of crisis intervention techniques when necessary.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and incidents.
- Follow all state and federal regulations and agency policies.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Attend to other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
At Least One Year Of Experience Working With At-Risk Youth In A Residential Or Community Setting.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Behavior Management Techniques And Positive Youth Development Principles.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Both Youth And Their Families.
Valid Driver's License And Ability To Pass A Background Check.
