
IT Analyst - Open Data Portal Coordinator

- Oversee the maintenance and management of the state's open data portal, ensuring that data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to the public.
- Collaborate with various departments and agencies to identify and collect relevant data to be published on the portal.
- Develop and implement data quality control processes to ensure the integrity and consistency of data on the portal.
- Monitor and analyze data usage and user feedback to inform improvements and enhancements to the portal.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in open data and make recommendations for incorporating them into the portal.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any technical issues or inquiries related to the open data portal.
- Train and assist other staff members on how to use the portal and properly manage data for publication.
- Work with external stakeholders to promote the open data portal and its benefits to the community.
- Create and maintain documentation and guidelines for data management and publication on the portal.
- Collaborate with government officials and community members to identify and prioritize datasets to be published on the portal.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Data Analysis And Management, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Proficiency In Database Management And Data Visualization Tools, Such As Sql, Tableau, Or Power Bi.
Familiarity With Open Data Principles And Regulations, As Well As Experience Implementing And Maintaining An Open Data Portal.
Strong Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Stakeholders And Manage Competing Priorities.
