  1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all State of Utah facilities.
  2. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.
  3. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, and sanitizing.
  4. Empty and dispose of trash and recycling.
  5. Restock and maintain inventory of supplies.
  6. Assist with setting up and breaking down of rooms for meetings and events.
  7. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  9. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and visitors.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  11. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  12. Adhere to all State of Utah policies and regulations.
  13. Attend training and development programs as required.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures.
  15. Represent the State of Utah with integrity and professionalism at all times.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A General Services Aide Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Perform Basic Tasks Such As Filing, Data Entry, And Organizing Office Supplies.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Previous Experience Working In A General Services Or Administrative Support Role Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Ability To Handle Office Tasks Efficiently And Effectively.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: A General Services Aide Should Possess Strong Organizational Skills To Manage Office Supplies, Keep Accurate Records, And Maintain A Clean And Orderly Work Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A General Services Aide, One May Be Required To Interact With Various Departments And Individuals Within The Organization. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential.

  • Basic Computer Skills: A General Services Aide Must Have Basic Computer Skills And Be Proficient In Microsoft Office Applications. This Includes The Ability To Use Word Processing, Spreadsheet, And Database Software To Complete Tasks And Create Reports.
