High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Fleet Technician Job At State Of Utah Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Core Subjects Such As Math, Science, And English, Which Are Necessary For Performing Technical Tasks.
Technical Certification: State Of Utah May Require Candidates To Possess A Relevant Technical Certification, Such As Automotive Service Excellence (Ase) Certification. These Certifications Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Proficiency In Repairing And Maintaining Vehicles.
Prior Experience: Candidates With Prior Experience In Fleet Maintenance Will Be Given Preference. This Includes Experience In Diagnosing And Repairing Various Types Of Vehicles, Conducting Preventative Maintenance, And Using Diagnostic Equipment And Tools.
