- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously improve counseling techniques and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to expand employment opportunities for clients.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights in the workplace.
- Collaborate with other employment service providers to coordinate services and resources for clients.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in employment counseling.
- Represent the organization at job fairs and community events to promote services and engage with potential clients.
- Continuously evaluate and improve counseling methods and services to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders through various mediums, including in-person, phone, and email.
- Embody a positive and empathetic attitude towards clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Career Counseling, Job Placement, Or Workforce Development.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Local Job Market And Employment Resources.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Establish Trust With Clients.
Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Ability To Provide Culturally Sensitive Counseling.
