  1. Provide career counseling services to job seekers in the Provo, Lehi, and Spanish Fork areas.
  2. Assess the needs and goals of job seekers and develop personalized career plans.
  3. Utilize various resources and tools to help job seekers identify their strengths, interests, and skills.
  4. Provide job search assistance, including resume and cover letter review, interview preparation, and networking strategies.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current job market trends, industries, and employer needs.
  6. Collaborate with employers and community organizations to develop job opportunities for job seekers.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  8. Conduct workshops and presentations related to career development and job search strategies.
  9. Serve as a mentor and advocate for job seekers, providing support and encouragement throughout their job search journey.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of career counseling services.
  11. Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  12. Represent the State of Utah and promote the Employment Counselor role at job fairs and community events.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all interactions with job seekers and employers.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when working with diverse populations.
  15. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to provide comprehensive services to job seekers.
  16. Act as a liaison between job seekers and potential employers, facilitating connections and building relationships.
  17. Keep accurate records of job placement and success rates of clients.
  18. Identify and recommend additional resources and support services for job seekers as needed.
  19. Continuously develop and enhance knowledge and skills related to career counseling and job search strategies.
  20. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and policies related to employment counseling.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
