  1. Responding to emergency calls and providing timely and efficient medical care to patients.
  2. Assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Administering life-saving treatments and medications in accordance with established protocols.
  4. Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
  5. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients and their families.
  6. Communicating effectively with other members of the emergency response team, including paramedics, firefighters, and police officers.
  7. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  8. Maintaining and restocking emergency medical supplies and equipment.
  9. Providing support and assistance to other emergency personnel as needed.
  10. Continuously staying updated on new medical procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  11. Maintaining a valid EMT certification and completing all required continuing education and training.
  12. Demonstrating physical fitness and ability to perform necessary job duties.
  13. Working collaboratively in a team environment to ensure efficient and effective emergency medical response.
  14. Maintaining confidentiality and following all HIPAA regulations.
  15. Representing the State of Utah in a positive and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.

  • Current State Of Utah Emt Certification Or Ability To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Hire.

  • Completion Of A Recognized Emt Training Program.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As An Emt In A Fast-Paced Emergency Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Emergency Medical Services.
