Possession Of A Bachelor's Degree In Interpretation, Education, Or A Related Field.
Fluent In American Sign Language (Asl) And English, With The Ability To Interpret Accurately And Effectively In Both Languages.
Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As The Registry Of Interpreters For The Deaf (Rid) Or The National Association Of The Deaf (Nad).
Knowledge And Understanding Of The Educational System, Including Laws And Regulations Related To Education And Special Education Services For Deaf And Hard Of Hearing Students.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Teachers, Students, And Parents To Facilitate Effective Communication And Support The Educational Needs Of Deaf And Hard Of Hearing Students.
