
Deputy Construction Engineer

- Oversee and manage construction projects throughout the state, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and schedules.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications.
- Monitor and track project costs and expenses.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Identify potential issues or conflicts and develop solutions to address them.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are being followed on construction sites.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including local communities and government agencies, to provide updates on project progress.
- Manage and supervise a team of construction professionals, including engineers, inspectors, and contractors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other external partners.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in construction technology.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of construction projects.
Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Construction Management Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations And Codes Related To Construction Projects.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage Construction Teams And Stakeholders.
Familiarity With Project Management Software And Ability To Create And Manage Project Schedules And Budgets.
