  1. Provide exceptional customer service to citizens of Utah who rely on our services.
  2. Handle and assist with a high volume of customer inquiries and claims.
  3. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  4. Utilize active listening skills to understand and address customer needs and concerns.
  5. Demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with difficult or frustrated customers.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and claims.
  7. Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and effective handling of claims.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of state policies and procedures related to customer service and claims processing.
  9. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex customer issues and escalate as needed.
  10. Stay up-to-date on changes in policies and procedures and communicate updates to customers as necessary.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Customer Service Representative/Claims Examiner At State Of Utah Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Handle Claims Inquiries.
