
CTE Education Specialist

- Develop and implement CTE programs: The CTE Education Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing CTE programs that align with state standards and meet the needs of students in Utah.
- Evaluate CTE programs: The specialist will evaluate the effectiveness of existing CTE programs and make recommendations for improvements to ensure student success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: The specialist will work closely with educators, administrators, and industry professionals to develop and improve CTE programs and ensure they meet the needs of students and the workforce.
- Stay updated on industry trends: The specialist will stay informed about industry trends and labor market demands to ensure CTE programs are relevant and prepare students for current and future job opportunities.
- Provide support to educators: The specialist will provide support and resources to educators to help them effectively implement CTE programs and engage students in hands-on learning experiences.
- Conduct trainings: The specialist may conduct trainings for educators and industry professionals to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality CTE programs.
- Monitor program compliance: The specialist will ensure that CTE programs comply with state and federal regulations and standards, and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Analyze data: The specialist will collect and analyze data on student performance and program outcomes to inform decision-making and program improvements.
- Advocate for CTE: The specialist will serve as an advocate for CTE programs and promote their importance and impact on student success to stakeholders and the public.
- Maintain records: The specialist will maintain accurate records of program data, budget information, and other relevant information.
- Stay organized: The specialist will need to stay organized and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of CTE programs statewide.
- Continuously improve: The specialist will continuously seek ways to improve CTE programs and processes to better serve students and meet the changing needs of the workforce.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Education, Career And Technical Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Career And Technical Education Programs.
Strong Knowledge Of State Of Utah's Cte Standards And Policies.
Experience In Curriculum Design, Assessment, And Instruction In A Cte Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Educators, Industry Partners, And Other Stakeholders.
