
Building/Grounds Supervisor: Echo State Park

- Oversee and manage the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, grounds, and facilities within Echo State Park.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all buildings and grounds, including regular inspections and repairs.
- Supervise a team of maintenance staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure that all buildings and facilities are clean, safe, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.
- Coordinate with other park departments and external contractors to complete larger projects and repairs.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for building and grounds maintenance.
- Conduct regular safety checks and train staff on proper safety protocols and procedures.
- Create and maintain records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with park management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to building and grounds maintenance.
- Respond to and resolve any building or grounds-related issues or emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Continuously assess and improve upon the park's physical appearance and functionality to enhance visitor experience.
- Serve as a positive and knowledgeable representative of Echo State Park, providing excellent customer service to all visitors.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies in building and grounds maintenance to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among maintenance staff.
- Other duties as assigned by park management.
Experience In Building And Grounds Maintenance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing And Maintaining Facilities, Including Buildings, Grounds, And Equipment. This Includes Experience In Performing Routine Inspections And Repairs, As Well As Overseeing Larger Construction And Renovation Projects.
Knowledge Of Safety And Environmental Regulations: As A Building/Grounds Supervisor At Echo State Park, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Ensuring Compliance With All Safety And Environmental Regulations. This Includes Knowledge Of Osha Regulations, Fire Safety Codes, And Environmental Laws.
Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Oversee A Team Of Maintenance Workers And Coordinate With Other Park Staff. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Delegating Tasks, Providing Direction And Training, And Managing Budgets And Resources Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Building/Grounds Supervisor Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Park Staff, Contractors, And Vendors To Coordinate Maintenance And Repair Projects. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Think Critically And Troubleshoot Issues That Arise In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
Knowledge Of Park Operations And Procedures: Understanding The Operations And Procedures Of Echo State Park Is Essential For The Building/Grounds Supervisor To Effectively Manage The Maintenance And Upkeep Of The Park.
