Welcome to the State of Utah's Department of Human Services! We are currently seeking a highly qualified and passionate individual to join our team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).   1. Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities.
  2. Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support the behavioral, social, and emotional needs of clients.
  3. Monitor and track client progress, make data-driven decisions, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including family members, caregivers, and other service providers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to treatment.
  5. Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members on behavior management techniques and interventions.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of behavior analysis to continuously improve services.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with agency and ethical standards.
  8. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as ethical standards, related to behavior analysis and client care.
  9. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  10. Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
  11. Represent the agency and profession in a professional and positive manner.
  12. Adhere to agency policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  13. Advocate for clients' rights and promote self-determination and independence.
  14. Offer support and guidance to clients and families in navigating the service system and accessing resources.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve services to meet the needs of clients and families.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Or A Related Field.

  • Bcba Certification From The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities Or Behavioral Challenges.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Behavior Analytic Techniques And Interventions.

  • Ability To Develop And Implement Behavior Intervention Plans, Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, And Train And Supervise Behavior Technicians And Other Staff.
