Your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the success of our financial services team.To excel in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in financial services, including 2 years in a supervisory or management role.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the financial services department.
  2. Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of financial services to various state agencies and departments.
  3. Work closely with the Office Director to develop and implement financial strategies and goals.
  4. Supervise and provide guidance to a team of financial services professionals.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including state agencies, departments, and vendors.
  7. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and policies.
  8. Analyze financial data and prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial services and make recommendations for incorporating them into department operations.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to achieve common goals and objectives.
  12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to financial services.
  13. Assist in budget planning and forecasting for the financial services department.
  14. Represent the department and the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee development.
