
Assistant Liquor Store Manager

- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations of the liquor store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and customer service.
- Provide support to the Store Manager in managing and leading a team of employees to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Train and develop employees on proper alcohol sales techniques and responsible service practices.
- Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to meet store goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving store performance.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store layout.
- Address customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, inventory, and employee schedules.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and promote responsible alcohol sales.
- Represent the store in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
- Assist in managing the store budget and controlling expenses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Previous Retail Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Liquor Store Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Liquor Laws And Regulations: The Assistant Liquor Store Manager Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Local Laws Governing The Sale Of Alcohol, As Well As The Ability To Enforce These Laws Within The Store.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: This Position Requires Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis, So The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Exceptional Customer Service And Resolving Any Customer Complaints Effectively.
Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: The Assistant Liquor Store Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing Inventory, Scheduling Staff, And Handling Administrative Tasks, So Strong Organizational And Multitasking Skills Are Essential.
