  1. Collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adults and children.
  2. Assist in conducting evaluations and assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate goals.
  3. Provide direct therapeutic services to clients, such as therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
  4. Monitor and document clients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  5. Educate and train clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and activities to promote independence and improve daily functioning.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing documentation.
  7. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with clients, families, and team members.
  8. Continuously seek professional development opportunities to improve knowledge and skills in the field of occupational therapy.
  9. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  10. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience in all interactions with clients, recognizing their unique needs and abilities.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to occupational therapy practice.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  13. Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.
  14. Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
  15. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the organization to improve the lives of Utah's residents.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant From An Accredited Program

  • Current Certification As An Occupational Therapy Assistant By The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot)

  • Minimum Of One Year Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapy Assistant In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric And Adult Occupational Therapy Principles, Techniques, And Interventions

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team Members
