- Develop and manage volunteer programs across the state of Texas.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for various programs.
- Collaborate with different departments and organizations to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.
- Create and maintain volunteer schedules and assignments.
- Ensure volunteers are properly trained and equipped for their assigned tasks.
- Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase volunteer engagement and retention.
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities.
- Coordinate volunteer recognition events and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in volunteer management.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote volunteer opportunities and recruit new volunteers.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for volunteers.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise among volunteers.
- Participate in budget planning and tracking for volunteer programs.
- Regularly report on volunteer program progress and impact to management.
- Foster relationships with community partners and organizations to expand volunteer opportunities.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to volunteer management.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Volunteer Coordination Or Program Management.
Knowledge Of Volunteer Management Best Practices And Techniques.
Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations Related To Volunteer Programs And Services.
