  1. Design and implement telecommunications systems and networks to meet the needs of the state government.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to telecommunications systems and networks.
  3. Stay up-to-date on advancements in telecommunications technology and make recommendations for system improvements.
  4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of telecommunications systems.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for all telecommunications systems and procedures.
  6. Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve potential issues.
  7. Create and maintain disaster recovery plans for telecommunications systems to ensure business continuity.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  10. Work with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality service.
  11. Train and mentor junior staff members on telecommunications systems and procedures.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  13. Manage telecommunications projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  14. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical telecommunications systems.
  15. Conduct regular research and analysis to identify potential areas for improvement and cost-saving measures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Telecommunications, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Telecommunications Systems Design, Installation, And Maintenance.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Fcc Rules And Regulations.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Telecommunications Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team And Provide Support To End Users.
