  1. Conduct initial assessments of individuals to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  2. Provide individual and group counseling to clients to address their social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
  3. Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and resources for clients.
  4. Monitor and evaluate client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions and services provided.
  6. Conduct home visits and make referrals to community resources as needed.
  7. Advocate for clients' rights and needs in various settings, such as court hearings and school meetings.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in social work.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of services.
  10. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  11. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and their families.
  12. Keep up-to-date on state and federal policies and laws related to social work and apply them in practice.
  13. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Continuously assess and address clients' needs, including identifying potential risks and making appropriate referrals.
  16. Provide support and guidance to clients in navigating the social service system.
  17. Participate in case conferences and meetings with clients and their families.
  18. Actively engage in promoting and advocating for social justice and equity.
  19. Take responsibility for professional growth and development.
  20. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited Institution.

  • A Valid License To Practice Social Work In The State Of Texas.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Social Work Setting, Preferably In A Government Agency.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Social Work Principles, Laws, And Regulations In Texas.

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Problem-Solving Skills.
