- Review and analyze reimbursement requests to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information and documentation for reimbursement submissions.
- Maintain complete and organized records of all reimbursement requests and related documents.
- Prepare and submit reimbursement claims to appropriate agencies or organizations.
- Monitor and track reimbursement submissions to ensure timely processing.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with reimbursement submissions.
- Stay up-to-date on all relevant regulations and guidelines related to reimbursement processes.
- Communicate with external agencies and organizations regarding reimbursement requests and related matters.
- Work closely with the finance department to reconcile and track reimbursement payments.
- Generate reports and provide regular updates to management on the status of reimbursement requests.
- Conduct audits and quality control checks to ensure compliance with reimbursement policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on ways to improve reimbursement processes and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens and other stakeholders regarding reimbursement inquiries.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Healthcare Reimbursement, Preferably In A Government Agency.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Healthcare Reimbursement.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Financial Software.
