Job Description

As a Rehab Therapy Technician at the State of Texas, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals seeking rehabilitation services. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to help patients recover and regain their independence. We are looking for a compassionate and driven individual to join our team and assist in providing therapy services to those in need.   1. Assist in providing rehabilitation services to patients in need, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
  2. Collaborate with therapists and other team members to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to therapists.
  4. Ensure that therapy equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
  5. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide support and answer any questions.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  9. Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry, as needed.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through ongoing education and training.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and team members.
  12. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and laws related to rehabilitation therapy.
  13. Attend team meetings and provide input on patient progress and treatment plans.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of the State of Texas and the rehabilitation facility.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of An Accredited Training Program In Rehabilitation Therapy Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Rehabilitation Therapy Technician (Crtt) By The State Of Texas

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Experience Working In A Rehabilitation Therapy Setting

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Basic Patient Care Techniques
