  10. Serve as a liaison between the Courthouse Preservation Program and other state agencies, providing guidance and support on preservation matters.
  11. Participate in meetings and conferences related to courthouse preservation to share knowledge and best practices.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all project reviews and reports.
  13. Identify and address potential risks and issues during the preservation process.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Historic Preservation: A Project Reviewer For The Courthouse Preservation Program Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Principles And Practices Of Historic Preservation, Including Architectural Styles, Building Materials, Restoration Techniques, And Preservation Laws And Regulations.

  • Experience In Project Review: Applicants Should Have Experience In Reviewing And Evaluating Construction Projects, Particularly Those Related To Historic Buildings. This May Include Experience As An Architect, Contractor, Or Preservation Specialist.

  • Attention To Detail: The Project Reviewer Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Issues Or Concerns With Proposed Preservation Projects. They Should Also Be Able To Review And Analyze Complex Architectural Plans And Specifications.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Project Reviewer, As They Will Be Required To Work With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Project Applicants, Architects, Preservationists, And Government Officials.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Preservation Programs: Familiarity With State And Federal Historic Preservation Programs, Such As The National Register Of Historic Places And The National Historic Preservation Act, Is Important For A Project Reviewer To Ensure That Projects Comply With All Applicable Laws And Regulations.
