- Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of projects that align with the state's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of project managers and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify project requirements, establish project scope, and develop project plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Regularly report on project status, including budget updates, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to continuously improve project management processes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures related to project management.
- Serve as a representative of the state of Texas, promoting its values and commitment to creating a better future for all Texans.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Project Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.
Pmp Certification Or Equivalent Project Management Certification.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Project Management Methodologies And Tools, Such As Agile And Microsoft Project, As Well As Experience With Budgeting And Resource Allocation.
