  1. Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating and treating patients with injuries or medical conditions affecting their mobility and daily activities.
  2. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients, following established treatment plans and protocols.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  4. Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  5. Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist.
  6. Accurately document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  7. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of physical therapy, attending continuing education opportunities as required.
  10. Uphold the values and mission of the healthcare organization, promoting a positive and professional image to patients and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current License To Practice As A Physical Therapist Assistant In The State Of Texas.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Or Outpatient Facility.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Relevant State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Physical Therapy Practice.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.
