
Medical Countermeasures Coordinator

- Coordinate and implement plans for the distribution of medical countermeasures during public health emergencies.
- Collaborate with state and local agencies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify potential threats and anticipate needs for medical countermeasures.
- Develop and maintain protocols and procedures for the timely and efficient distribution of medical countermeasures.
- Train and educate healthcare providers and other stakeholders on the appropriate use and handling of medical countermeasures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines related to the distribution of medical countermeasures.
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems to track the availability and distribution of medical countermeasures.
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of medical countermeasure distribution plans.
- Communicate and disseminate important information related to medical countermeasures to relevant parties during public health emergencies.
- Collaborate with other emergency management personnel to develop and implement overall emergency response plans.
- Stay updated on the latest medical countermeasure technologies and advancements in emergency preparedness to continuously improve response efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to the distribution of medical countermeasures.
- Serve as a liaison between state and local agencies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient and effective response efforts.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emerging public health emergencies and adapt plans and protocols as needed.
- Uphold a high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all job duties.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Emergency Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Emergency Preparedness And Response.
Knowledge Of Medical Countermeasures, Including Vaccines, Pharmaceuticals, And Other Medical Supplies.
Familiarity With Federal And State Regulations And Guidelines Related To Medical Countermeasures.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Collaborate With Multiple Stakeholders In Emergency Situations.
