- Conduct thorough testing of all IAM systems and applications, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure they meet quality standards and requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, security, and performance of IAM systems.
- Identify and report any defects or issues found during testing, and work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve them.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that changes and updates to IAM systems do not have any adverse effects on existing functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in IAM testing, and make recommendations for process improvements and enhancements.
- Monitor and analyze test results, and provide reports and metrics to stakeholders on the quality and stability of IAM systems.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure that IAM systems are built with quality and testability in mind.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test environments, test data, and test tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security analysts, and business analysts, to ensure the overall success of IAM testing efforts.
Knowledge Of Iam Principles And Industry Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Identity And Access Management (Iam) Principles And Industry Standards, Including But Not Limited To Authentication, Authorization, And Access Control.
Experience With Iam Technologies: The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Iam Technologies Such As Identity Management, Role-Based Access Control, Single Sign-On, And Privilege Management. Knowledge Of Commonly Used Iam Tools And Platforms, Such As Active Directory, Okta, And Ping Identity, Is Highly Desirable.
Strong Testing And Quality Assurance Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Software Testing And Quality Assurance Methodologies, Including Test Planning, Test Case Creation, Execution, And Defect Tracking. Experience With Test Automation Tools And Frameworks Is A Plus.
Understanding Of Security And Compliance Requirements: As A Qa Analyst/Tester For Iam, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Security And Compliance Requirements, Including Gdpr, Hipaa, And Pci-Dss. Familiarity With Relevant Laws And Regulations Specific To The State Of Texas Is Also Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Business Analysts, And Project Managers. The Ability To Document And Communicate Testing Results And Recommendations Clearly Is Crucial For This Role.
