  1. Review and evaluate applications for Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certification to determine eligibility based on state guidelines.
  2. Conduct thorough and accurate research on businesses to verify ownership and diversity status.
  3. Collaborate with various state agencies and departments to promote diversity and inclusivity in state procurement processes.
  4. Communicate with applicants and provide guidance on the certification process, requirements, and any necessary documentation.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of certified HUB businesses and their status.
  6. Participate in outreach events and workshops to educate and inform underrepresented businesses about the HUB certification program and its benefits.
  7. Analyze data and compile reports on HUB certification trends, successes, and challenges.
  8. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the HUB certification program and make recommendations for improvements.
  9. Provide support and guidance to state agencies and departments in their efforts to meet HUB procurement goals and requirements.
  10. Stay informed about current diversity and inclusion policies, practices, and initiatives to ensure the HUB certification program remains relevant and effective.
  11. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy in the certification process.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity within the business community and actively work towards eliminating barriers for underrepresented businesses.
  13. Uphold the integrity and impartiality of the HUB certification process by maintaining strict confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on HUB certification policies and procedures and provide guidance and training to colleagues as needed.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline the HUB certification process and make recommendations for process enhancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Government Contracting Or Supplier Diversity Programs

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Hub Certification

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Recommendations

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups And Handle Sensitive Information With Confidentiality.
