- Conduct needs assessments and data analysis to identify high-risk populations and target prevention efforts accordingly.

- Manage budget and resources allocated for HIV prevention efforts and ensure effective use of funds.
- Collaborate with other state agencies and departments to integrate HIV prevention into broader public health initiatives.
- Represent the state of Texas at relevant conferences, meetings, and events related to HIV prevention.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HIV prevention programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate and educate the public about HIV prevention strategies and resources available.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders to enhance HIV prevention efforts.
- Stay informed about state and federal policies and regulations related to HIV prevention and ensure compliance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on the progress and impact of HIV prevention efforts to state leadership and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HIV prevention for media inquiries and public speaking engagements.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the HIV prevention team and promote a positive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hiv Prevention And Education, Preferably In A Leadership Role.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Hiv Prevention Strategies And Interventions.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Community Organizations.
Experience Managing And Coordinating Multiple Projects And Teams, With A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Program Goals And Objectives.
