  1. Evaluate grant proposals from various organizations and individuals to determine their eligibility for funding.
  2. Conduct thorough and unbiased analysis of grant proposals, including reviewing budgets, project plans, and expected outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure all grant proposals are thoroughly evaluated and considered.
  4. Utilize past experience and knowledge of grant evaluation processes to provide insight and recommendations on funding allocations.
  5. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, guidelines, and policies in the evaluation of grant proposals.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all grant evaluations and decisions.
  7. Communicate effectively with grant applicants and stakeholders, providing feedback and updates on the status of their proposals.
  8. Participate in meetings and discussions to review and discuss grant evaluation procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in grant evaluation to continuously improve the process.
  10. Contribute to the development and implementation of new grant evaluation policies and procedures.
  11. Support the overall mission and goals of the State of Texas by utilizing your expertise to allocate funding for programs and initiatives that positively impact the community.
  12. Continuously demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Policy, Social Sciences, Or Statistics.

  • Previous Experience In Grant Evaluation Or Program Evaluation.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Data.
