  1. Maintain and optimize the State of Texas' complex network and server systems.
  2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain enterprise systems, including servers, storage, and network devices.
  4. Ensure systems are secure and protected from potential threats.
  5. Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure system reliability and security.
  6. Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new technologies and system improvements.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including training and troubleshooting assistance.
  8. Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
  9. Monitor system capacity and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements as needed.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in enterprise systems administration.
  11. Document system configurations and changes for record-keeping purposes.
  12. Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, management, and end-users.
  13. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies outside of regular working hours.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to all security protocols.
  15. Continuously strive to improve system performance and reliability.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing And Maintaining Enterprise-Level Systems.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Server And Network Infrastructure, Including Virtualization, Storage, And Security Protocols.

  • Proficiency In Various Operating Systems, Such As Windows, Linux, And Unix.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
