  2. Utilize knowledge of forensic science to identify, collect, and preserve evidence.
  3. Conduct thorough and meticulous examinations of evidence, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of evidence analysis and processing.
  5. Collaborate with law enforcement officials to provide technical support and assistance in criminal investigations.
  6. Create detailed reports and documentation of evidence analysis and findings.
  7. Utilize various laboratory equipment and techniques to analyze evidence, including DNA testing, fingerprint analysis, and chemical analysis.
  8. Maintain a safe and organized working environment, adhering to proper safety protocols and procedures.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in forensic science and evidence analysis techniques.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, law enforcement officials, and other stakeholders.
  11. Effectively manage a large workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  12. Adhere to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of evidence handling and processing.
  13. Train and mentor new team members on evidence processing and analysis procedures.
  14. Represent the crime lab in court as an expert witness, if necessary.
  15. Contribute to the overall mission of promoting justice and upholding the law in the State of Texas.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Forensic Science, Biology, Chemistry, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience Working In A Crime Laboratory Or Related Field, Preferably In Evidence Collection And Analysis.

  • Knowledge Of Forensic Evidence Collection, Preservation, And Documentation Procedures.

  • Proficiency In Using Scientific Equipment And Software For Analysis And Interpretation Of Evidence.
