- Conduct thorough audits of state agencies and employees to assess compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop recommendations for corrective action.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to agency leaders and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with agency staff to develop and implement training programs to promote compliance and ethical practices.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact compliance requirements.
- Monitor and track compliance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain relationships with agency leaders and employees to promote a culture of compliance and accountability.
- Conduct investigations into allegations of non-compliance and provide support to agency leadership in addressing any issues.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and training matters, providing guidance and support to agency staff as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to share best practices and ensure consistency in compliance efforts across the state.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Auditing, Compliance, Or Training.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations And Laws Related To Auditing And Compliance.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Present Findings And Recommendations To Various Stakeholders.
